What activities related to me and my GETTR posts will be displayed on the notifications page?

The notifications page will display various activities related to you and your GETTR posts, including:

  • When your GETTR posts are followed, liked, reposted, or quoted.

  • Replies from other users to your GETTR posts or comments.

  • GETTR posts where other users mention you (@username).

  • Notifications when other users follow your account.

How is the sorting done on the notifications page?

The sorting on the notifications page is done in reverse chronological order. This means that the most recent activity notifications will appear at the top of the page, and as you scroll down, you will see older notifications. This way, you can quickly and easily keep track of the latest activity on your account.

What are the "Livestreams" and "Polls" options in the notifications page?

On the notifications page, under the "All" section, you will find two additional options: "Livestreams" and "Polls". These options allow you to receive specific notifications related to live streaming and polls on the platform.

  • With the "Livestreams" option enabled, you will receive notifications if an account you are following is currently live streaming. This will help you stay in the loop with the latest live events and discussions happening on GETTR.

  • Similarly, with the "Polls" option enabled, you will receive notifications when polls you voted on or created have ended. This way, you can quickly see the results of polls you were interested in and participate in ongoing discussions.

What is the difference between the "All" and "Mentions" sections on the notifications page?

  • In the "All" section, you will receive notifications about new followers, likes, reposts, mentions, or replies to your posts.

  • In the "Mentions" section, you will receive notifications specifically related to mentions of you in posts or replies, providing a clearer understanding of activities directly involving you.
