Yes, you can revert to the username you used when registering on GETTR.
Is there a limit to how many times I can change my username?
Yes, you can change your username up to 4 times per month. This update takes effect immediately and will impact how your followers identify you. If you change your username to @username, you cannot immediately revert to it.
Why can't I choose the username I want?
Some usernames may be unavailable because they are already in use by other users or for other reasons.
Why doesn't the invitation link I sent to a friend direct them to my account?
The URL format of invitation links is different from the URL format of profiles. If you have further questions, please contact the customer support team.
I've changed my username, but why can people still find me by searching the username I used when creating the account?
The username you used when registering on GETTR as your unique identifier. Even if you change your username, you can still be found using the username you registered with on GETTR.
