GETTR Live Use Restrictions and Limitations

  • Abuse of GETTR Live Streaming Services: GETTR reserves the right to monitor your GETTR Live activity and suspend your live-streaming privileges if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the GETTR Live service is being abused. This includes, but is not limited to, continuously live streaming with no or minimal audience engagement, which may place undue burden on GETTR’s overall capabilities and resources. Additionally, abuse may include the use of offensive, inappropriate, or illegal content, spamming, harassment, or any activities that violate GETTR’s Terms of Use or Community Guidelines. Users engaging in such activities may face temporary or permanent suspension of GETTR Live, as well as potential further action as deemed necessary by GETTR.

  • GETTR Live Privileges: GETTR reserves the right to grant users different levels of livestream privileges, including but not limited to tiered livestreaming hours and tiered livestream video storage hours. GETTR reserves the right to adjust users' livestream hours and/or storage hours at GETTR's sole discretion, and without notice to the user. The specific details and levels of these privileges will be communicated to users as part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the GETTR Live experience.

  • Livestream Content Retention: Any and all livestream media content that remains unviewed for a period of thirty (30) consecutive days may be subject to deletion, archival, or removal from the GETTR platform. GETTR reserves the exclusive right, at its sole discretion, to take such actions without prior notice to the user. This content retention policy is implemented to ensure efficient use of our resources and may be enforced without exception.

Content Responsibility and Reporting

  • User Responsibility: Users are responsible for ensuring their content is accurate, legal, and compliant with GETTR’s Community Guidelines, and all other applicable terms governing the GETTR platform.

  • Monitoring and Enforcement: GETTR reserves the right to monitor livestreams and remove content that violates these terms. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.

  • Reporting Violations: Users play a crucial role in maintaining community standards by reporting content or behavior that violates our guidelines. Reports are reviewed by GETTR's global Safety Operations team, which works 24/7/365 to ensure a swift response.

Content Ownership, Licensing, and Liability

  • Collaborative Safety Efforts: GETTR works with users, moderators, and external safety and policy experts to regularly review and update these guidelines.

  • Off-Service Conduct: GETTR enforces against severe off-service offenses that pose a substantial safety risk to the community, with actions taken based on verifiable evidence.

  • Unauthorized Sharing of Private Information: Sharing someone else’s sensitive data without permission is prohibited and can result in enforcement actions.
