What is the Notifications feature?

GETTR is making it easier to share ideas and to connect with friends and family!
On the GETTR app and web, we have a notifications timeline where you can see who has followed, mentioned or reacted to your post through liking, reposting or replying. 

How do I turn on/off mobile notifications for GETTR?

iOS:

• Go to Settings on your iOS device
• Scroll down to find GETTR
• Choose Notifications
• Toggle the Allow Notifications switch on/off
• Choose a type of alert and banner style
• You can also turn sounds and badges on or off

Android:

• Go to Settings on your Android device
• Tap Apps
• Scroll down to find GETTR
• Tap Notifications
• Toggle the Notifications switch on/off or checkbox if necessary. This may appear different depending on your Android version

Where is the Notifications timeline?

This feed is located under the Notifications tab on the web, and under the  icon on the app.

Under the All tab, you will get notifications on new followers, likes, reposts or replies to your post.

Under the Mentions tab, you will get notifications on who has mentioned you in a post or a reply.

How do I turn in-app Notifications on/off?

App:

• Tap the icon on the bottom navigation bar
• Tap the icon on the upper right corner 
• Turn the Notifications on the options you select on/off

Web: 

• Go to Settings – Notifications
• Turn the Notifications on the options you select on/off
